Governance Education Opportunities
WSHA recognizes how challenging it is to get on top of and stay abreast of all that goes into governing a hospital from the fundamentals to current hot topics.  This section highlights educational opportunities for your board.

A WSHA Task Force studied issues relating to governing board education. The Task Force created a resolution that affirms the autonomy of each hospital in determining what it does in governance education. The resolution, which the WSHA Board of Trustees adopted in May 2009, also encourages hospitals to take specific actions.

The WSHA Board also passed a policy statement that will guide WSHA in it's governance education efforts. The links to these documents are below.
There is a lot to know and learning from one another is highly encouraged. This section will give you the opportunity to learn best practices on many different topics from mentoring, conflict of interest, policies and procedures and more! Check it out by clicking here!
