Mission & Vision
The Washington State Hospital Association advocates on behalf of and supports its members in achieving their missions and improving the health of their communities.
Washington’s hospitals and health systems effectively collaborate to be national leaders ensuring access to safe, high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable health care.
Goal 1: Lead the transformation of the health care delivery system in collaboration with key partners to improve the health of the population of Washington, enhance the patient experience, and reduce cost.
Goal 2: Advocate that all Washington residents have access to health care, including mental health care, in a cost-effective setting.
Goal 3: Lead efforts to achieve zero preventable deaths, injuries, and infections in Washington’s health care delivery system.
Goal 4: Advance the sustainability of the statewide health care delivery system to provide health care services to our communities.
Goal 5: Ensure WSHA can sustain its mission to advance members’ missions, by offering innovative and timely non-dues services and operate at its highest efficiency.
